Bei den Kupplungshälften mit Bohrung ist eine einfache mechanische Bearbeitung (Aufbohren, Passfedernut o. Ä.) zur Anpassung an die Abtriebswelle von Getrieben bzw. Antrieben/Motoren notwendig.

Internal broaches are used to produce inner profiles (e.g. keyways, multi-edged openings, internal gears), while external broaches are used to create profiles (gear segments).

In the case of Coupling Halves with bores, simple machining (reboring, parallel keyway, etc.) is required to ensure they match the drive output shaft of gearboxes/motor drives.
